On September 13th, Nicolette Hahn Niman will be at Zingerman's Deli in Ann Arbor, MI. The event, "Celebrating Beef," will take place from 6:00-9:00PM, and will include dinner, drinks, and a discussion of sustainable agricultural practices. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Slow Food Huron Valley. For this event, Chef Rodger Bowser and his team have created a unique menu that celebrates American beef and dairy cattle. Courses will be served with tasting-sized beverage pairings (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) as well as water. Additional beverages will be available for purchase. The registration fee for this dinner is $100 per person, or $190 for two people. The cost of registration includes one copy of Niman's book, "Defending Beef."
