Joel Salatin

Joel Salatin and his family own and operate Polyface Farm, arguably the nation's most famous farm since it was profiled in Michael Pollan's New York Times bestseller, The Omnivore's Dilemma and two subsequent documentaries, Food, Inc., and Fresh. An accomplished author and public speaker, Salatin has authored seven books. Recognition for his ecological and local-based farming advocacy includes an honorary doctorate, the Heinz Award, and many leadership awards.

Joel Salatin at Stockman Grass Farmer Marketing School

On October 12-14, Joel Salatin will be at the Stockman Grass Farmer Marketing School in Jackson, Mississippi, where he will be offering a Grazier’s Marketing School. The course will be co-taught by Allan Nation, Carolyn Nation, and Sheri Salatin, and will teach participants how to double their dollars per animal by capturing the other 50 percent of the consumer’s meat dollar. The tuition is $875 and this includes the $100.00 nonrefundable, nontransferable deposit. The tuition does not include lodging or all meals.
