Location: Stonewall Jackson Hotel, 24 S Market St, Staunton, VA, 24479 | Authors: Joel Salatin
Joel Salatin will be a keynote speaker at the Food Freedom Fest, which is taking place from August 14th through 16th in the Staunton, VA. All proceeds of the festival will go to the Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund. During the festival, attendees will enjoy three days of celebrating food freedom, meeting with others who share the same passions, and dining on locally-grown, nutrient-dense foods. This festival encapsulates several events, such as the Annual Food Freedom Conference on August 14th, which will feature distinguished and successful activists for food freedom; an extravagant 2.5-hour Deluxe Tour of Salatin's Polyface Farm; and the Nutritional Therapy Association Business Summit, which will educate health care consultants and practitioners on how to build their businesses. Full-weekend tickets to the Food Freedom Fest are $329, though single-conference tickets are also available.
