At his basic root Bill is an American political writer usually in line with the paleoconservative movement. He's a New York native and still resides there. Bill earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Rochester, and then started his political career as an aide to New York Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan.

As for Bill's recent endeavors, he and the KingDude spend a bit of time discussing some of the books Bill has written throughout his career, in particular "Forgotten Founder, Drunken Prophet: The Life of Luther Martin" which was published in 2008.
