In this video, Rob Hopkins, author of The Transition Handbook: From oil dependency to local resilience, sums up the Transition Initiative movement that he helped launch in Britain. He explains how the transition to a sustainable, oil-free society is working in his local community, and provides examples for what other communities around the world can do to transition away from oil dependence.
