Slow Money, Anyone?
The 3rd Slow Money National Gathering - is taking place in San Francisco, CA on October 12-14, and Chelsea Green Publishing is a proud sponsor of this important event.
Slow Money is the national network that was sparked by Chelsea Green author and board member Woody Tasch and his book Inquiries into the Nature of Slow Money: Investing as if Food, Farms and Fertility Mattered.Â
Since we published that book in 2008, over 15,000 people have signed the Slow Money Principles, 2,000Â have joined the Slow Money Alliance, and more than 1,000 have attended the first two Slow Money national gatherings, investing $4.25 million in 16 small food enterprises that presented at these events.
