Garrison Keillor Reads a Poem by David Budbill on The Writer’s Almanac

I must admit it gives me a little goose when I hear Garrison Keillor, on The Writer’s Almanac [1], say the words “published by Chelsea Green Publishing Company” at the tail end of his program. (“Hey! I work there!”) It’s almost like hearing your own name on the radio.

But of course, the honor belongs to author David Budbill [2], whose poem “Ben,” from the collection Judevine [3], was selected by Mr. Keillor for the nationally syndicated program.
