This is the coolest book ever! It is the first book of its kind, and I'm glad somebody finally wrote a book like this.

Gaia Girls-Enter the Earth is a book that is first of its kind. It is an extraordinary mix of adventure and calming forests. It is a must read!

Take a journey into the Earth, created by Lee Welles with her first book in the Gaia Girls series, Enter the Earth. Welles constructs a passage through the life-force of our precious planet. Readers are led through the inner confines of Earth by a young, but strong willed girl named Elizabeth Angier. Elizabeth's fictitious excursions are so vividly described, they seem quite realistic. Welles accurately depicts the nature around us, and raises awareness to the controversial environmental issues that jeopardize the delicate equilibrium of our Earth. Welles makes Enter the Earth, Elizabeth's quest for Earthly conservation a riveting read for both children and adults.

I really liked the book. I hope it encourages young people to explore their surroundings, go barefoot, sit under a tree, wade in a creek, watch a butterfly, listen to a bird sing. A nice story with a powerful message.
I just finished reading the book with my 9 year old daughter. We both loved it! Can't wait to read the rest of the series.
Gaia Girls is an excellent read for young people; a delightful mixture of concern and fantasy regarding our earth and the problems confronting us in our environment. I was so impressed with the book that I took my copy to our local library here on Long Beach Island, New Jersey so that our branch manager could review it. As a result, she has ordered some copies of the book for our library.
Purchased a copy, a real page turner. Read it cover to cover and then purchased five more copies for all my nieces and nephews! Good stuff! Waiting for the next installment!
I love this book. When my teacher read this book to me I couldn't let him stop. When my teacher finished the book I begged my mom for one of my own. I fnally got one. I especialy character is Gaia. This book is really cool.

We read this for our winter solstice-what a present. The book from start to finish is amazing. It made my son look at trees in a whole new way. We're very excited for the next book!

I could really identify with the main character. I think there's a little of her in a lot of us. Gaia Girls-Enter the Earth made me smile, gave me goose bumps and made me cry. I really recommend it!

I really enjoyed this book and I learned a lot about the earth from it. I recommend this book to anybody who respects nature. I also can't wait for the next books to come out!!!!
I love the book! I liked it a lot. I especially like Gaia. The book is cool. The part I liked was when Dell Danner got slapped. That was my favorite part.

'I really liked the book a lot. I liked how the little otter the little otter just sat there waving. Gaia Girls was the best book my teacher has read to us yet. I like it because Elizabeth is not scared to show her feelings to people. I also like it because of the powers. I think the powers are neat. Gaia Girls is by Lee Welles. The otter's name is Gaia. The book is about a little girl named Elizabeth who tries to save her farm and Gaia. On gaiagirls.com you can do puzzles. You should read the book and do the puzzles. You will like it. Thank you. There is also a company named harmony farms. It does not take care of animals that good.

When I first bought this book, I didn't really know what to expect. I usually do not read chapter books on my own, but every time I picked this book up and even for just one second started to read, I wouldn't be able to put the book down. It was really great. I can't wait until book two.

It was my initial intention to spend no longer than an hour a day reading "Gaia Girls" until I finished it. Once I started to read it I couldn't put the book down. So much for my plans. The book was wonderful! I loved reading about Elizabeth and her adventures about saving the earth. I felt like I was right there at Three Oaks Farm with her. I also enjoyed looking at the delightful animal and plant life illustrations and finding the hidden clues that are used to solve the puzzle included in the book. "Gaia Girls" was not only entertaining and suspenseful, but informative as well. It is beautifully written with detailed descriptions. A book that everyone 9 and older should read! I can see Gaia Girls becoming a favorite series and an award winning book. I am looking forward to reading the remaining books in the series.

In my opinion Gaia Girls is the greatest book I ever read. Every time I picked up Gaia Girls I was glued. If I had a choice I would reread Gaia Girls. Most of the other books I have read I could not follow. I can not wait to read the rest of the series. Gaia Girls opened a whole new door to reading. This book left me waiting to read the next one. The other books I have read left me hanging. Gaia Girls leaves you anxious to read the next book!

I really loved the book. I haven't read a book in 25yrs, since high school. can't wait for the next one to come out. I picked it and couldn't put it down.
Great book. Read it in two evenings and only put it down the first night so I could get some rest for work in the morning. Looking forward to the next one and the future series. Could we possibly have the next JK Rowlings in our midst?? Will definately pass it on to friends and family. Keep up the great work.
Enter the Earth by Lee Welles is a magnificent read that just touches on holistic ideals about our Earth. It is geared toward younger readers but has the ability to make adults think about their approach toward the global cause, and it certainly made me wish to be more altruistically in tune with nature. In so many ways it grabs the reader whether it be the fantastical notion of Gaia or the action packed moments throughout. I believe this book has just what new juvenile fiction has been lacking- a true foundation. I would recommend the book to anyone who would love a touch of fiction mixed with a world of the greater cause.

I can't wait for book 2. The first one is awesome!!!!!! I love Gaia, and the cool powers. I would recommend this to any girl I know.
This book is wonderful! It was interesting the whole way through. I love the mix of reality and fantasy. I never realized half of the things that this book showed. I couldn't stop reading it! I can't wait until the next book comes out. If she keeps the books as interesting as this, I'll have a new favorite series.

We have three children and I spent many happy hours out under the pine tree in our front yard reading: The Secret Garden, The Hobbit and the Chronicles of Narnia. Enter the Earth would have fit right in. I look forward to reading this to my grandchildren.

When I was reading the book I felt like I was actually in the story. I could picture myself at that place and I could do what Elizabeth did.

I love to read and will read just about anything as long as it grabs my interest first thing. I was so captivated within the first chapter that I couldn’t put it down. It made me laugh and it made me cry. It was an excellent book and I can't wait for the next one.
I thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to more coming.
