Libraries

As an independent publisher, Chelsea Green is always interested in ways to better support community libraries, which are as essential hubs for readers to connect with our books and authors. If you are a librarian, please sign up below to receive our quarterly library enewsletter. Take look at an example here.

For over 30 years Chelsea Green has been a leading publisher of foundational books on the politics and practice of sustainable living—books that go beyond how-to techniques to address the larger imperatives of restoring our depleted soils and fractured social and economic systems and reconnecting us to our communities, our food, and our world. We set a standard both in terms of our content: books on renewable energy, green building, organic agriculture, eco-cuisine, and ethical business; and in terms of our social and environmental practice, by being employee-owned and printing in North America on recycled paper.

Our books are available from all major distributors, including Ingram, Baker & Taylor, YBP, and Follett, and our DIY DVDs are available from Midwest Tape.

If you have any questions about us or our books, please feel free to contact library and trade sales manager Michael Weaver. And don't forget to connect with us on Facebook and Twitter!
