She has edited cookbooks for Scribner, Macmillan, Harvard Common Press, Rodale, Running Press and Eating Well among other publishers, including the 1998 edition of the Joy of Cooking, a James Beard award winner. In her eternal quest to discover the best in food and drink, she goes behind the scenes in FarmPlate Vermont Beer to tell the stories of the inspirational brewers who define beer in Vermont today.
