The following is a transcript. JAKE TAPPER: What inspired you to sit down on that day, in 2002, and start blogging? MARKOS MOULITSAS: This was early 2002, it was in the wake of the Afghanistan war, kind of in the run up in the Iraq war. It was a very stifling environment for liberal voices — they simply did not exist, they were quieted down.
