Jess Higgins Kelley

Jess Higgins Kelley, MNT, ONC, is an internationally recognized and award-winning journalist, nutrition therapist, and pioneering metabolic health educator. She is the founder and director of the Oncology Nutrition Institute (ONI) based in Maine, USA. ONI has provided certification and training programs in metabolic oncology nutrition therapy and lifestyle medicine to thousands of practitioners and members of the public worldwide since 2017 (www.oncologynutritioninstitute.com). She is also a licensed sea captain, ski guide, outdoor survival expert, and former Hurricane Island Outward Bound instructor.​​

Jess earned an undergraduate degree in journalism from Western Colorado University and completed the nutrition therapist master program at the Nutrition Therapy Institute in Denver, Colorado. She is the coauthor of Bioregulatory Medicine: An Innovative Holistic Approach to Self-Healing and the former managing editor at Edible San Juan Mountains magazine. She was the recipient of the Alaska Press Club Award in 2000, and her writing has appeared in Trail Runner Magazine, Powder, Ski, Skiing, Well Being Journal, Teton Valley News, and the Natural Grocers publications.
