What’s wrong with the entrepreneurial spirit? Nothing, per se. But the problem with the type of cowboy capitalism that has developed in this country—i.e. the rich steal from the poor to give to the rich, repeat—is that it doesn’t care about people. It doesn’t care about providing a strong social safety net. It doesn’t care about universal health care. It doesn’t care about human suffering. The beast only cares about feeding itself.

In this clip from Senator Sanders Unfiltered, my favorite U.S. senator explains to filmmaker Michael Moore the problems with American capitalism and what must be done to put things right.
