Interested in having your voice heard on the food freedom issues that are near and dear to your heart, but afraid only lobbyists have a megaphone on Capitol Hill? Take heed: that lobbyist could be you! Run a comb through your hair and grab the nearest briefcase—doesn’t matter if it’s yours—because this Wednesday is the fourth annual Small Farms Lobby Day in Washington, DC.
From food.change.org:
The National Independent Consumers and Farmers Association (NICFA) is hosting its fourth annual National Small Farm and Ranch Grassroots Lobby Day this Wednesday, March 10, in Washington, D.C. Lobbying (people — like you! — meeting with legislative aides) will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and a local foods reception will occur from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in Room SD-106 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building.
