Author Riki Ott (Not One Drop: Betrayal and Courage in the Wake of the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill) takes you through, step by step, the series of events that led to the massive rupture in the (single) hull of the Exxon Valdez, and the toxic spill of tens of millions of gallons of oil into Prince William sound, in this interview with Irene Rawlings of Boulder, Colorado, rock station KBCO.

In the two-part interview, Dr. Ott retells the story of the botched cleanup effort, the massacred salmon fisheries, the lost jobs, the thousands of deaths, and the legal and ecological nightmare that unfolded over the course of the next 20 years.
