We, here at Chelsea Green, like to put our money where our mouth is. We turn off our computers at night, we power our homes with renewable energy where we can, a few of us drive biodiesel Volkswagons, and many of us ride our bicycles to work. Well, we’ve formed a Chelsea Green Bicycle team (of sorts), and now we’re putting our money … where other people’s mouths are … by riding in the Harpoon Brewery Point-to-Point Bicycle Event. All proceeds from the event benefit the Vermont Foodbank—a wonderful volunteer organization that works to make sure that no Vermonter goes hungry.
The Team is doing a 25 mile loop on Saturday, August 16th around the hills of eastern Vermont. We’ve got six eager riders, a t-shirt on the way, and have already raised hundreds of dollars in contributions.
We’re hoping to raise all we can before the event, and I’m hoping that you can help us by making a contribution of $10, $12, $15, or more.
Our fundraising page accepts credit/debit card donations ($10 or more), and tracks the progress we made toward our goal. We’d be very appreciative of your help.Click here to go to the Chelsea Green Bicycle Team’s Vermont Foodbank fundraising page.
If you’d like to send less than $10 (Our account on active.com only accepts $10 and greater), you can mail it to:
