One of the better uses for worm castings is to make worm tea.

The simplest way to do so is to put a handful of castings in a bucket of dechlorinated water. Optionally add a tablespoon of molasses. The main point of making worm tea is to increase the beneficial bacteria and microbes that live in the castings. Leave the bucket of water to brew overnight and use as a foliar feeder the next day. Some people blow air through the water to aerate the mixture and increase the microbal activity even more.
