Bob Cavnar was interviewed on Vermont Public Radio last week about his new book, Disaster on the Horizon: High Stakes, High Risks, and the Story Behind the Deepwater Well Blowout.

Bob explained to VPR host Neal Charnoff what really happened on the night of April 20th, 2010 when the Deepwater Horizon exploded and caused the worst environmental disaster in United States history. He also discussed efforts on the part of British Petroleum, TransOcean, and the Obama Administration to cover up or downplay the media’s coverage of the blowout, and the safety implications of this disaster on the future of the oil and gas industry.
