WATCH: Howard Dean Talks Reform on Morning Joe

It’s kind of silly that President Obama has to keep saying this over and over and over again, but once again: “If you like your health care plan, you keep your health care plan. Nobody’s going to force you to leave your health care plan. If you like your doctor, you keep seeing your doctor. I don’t want government bureaucrats meddling in your health care. But the point is I don’t want insurance company bureaucrats meddling in your health care, either.

Howard Dean makes a forceful case for the public option in this clip from MSNBC’s Morning Joe. He takes on the “death panel” nonsense, and reassures viewers that the final bill to come out of Congress at the end of the calendar year will have a public option. At the end of the day, we all know Republicans won’t vote for real reform no matter what you call it, so why bother trying to deal with them?
