Green living tip of the day

When you wash your hands at a sink that has a delay in providing hot water, and you are not going to wait for the water to get warm to wash your hands, make sure you turn on the cold-water knob instead of the hot-water knob. Whenever I go to wash my hands, my knee-jerk instinct is to reach for the hot-water knob even when I know that I won’t get any hot water by the time I’m done. Remember, like the mustard seed, the little things can add up to a lot.
